TeleNav, creators of AT&T Navigator, announced that a similar navigation app will be made available to Verizon iPhone customers shortly after the phone is released.

The turn-by-turn app will be free for the first 30 days and those who wish to continue with the service will be required to pay $2.99 a month or $21.99 a year.
TeleNav GPS for Verizon iPhone features spoken turn-by-turn directions with street names, 2D or 3D moving apps and route updates.
